It is a registered charity with the UK Charity Commission (No. 1206724). It exists to serve young people most in need- displaced, refugee, and marginalised children and youth (8-35), through education that restores dignity, agency, and creates opportunities. Phoenix Space delivers cutting-edge STEM education, digital upskilling, work experience opportunities, English proficiency courses, scholarship aid, climate-resilient learning, and mentorship programmes, both virtually and in person. Their mission is to unlock human potential through accessible, future-focused learning that equips young people in fragile contexts with the skills, confidence, and creativity to build sustainable futures for themselves and their communities.

About Hayat Education Fund 

(HEF) is a national charitable society dedicated to supporting academically outstanding yet socio-economically disadvantaged youth in Jordan. Through scholarships, interest-free loans, vocational training, and capacity-building programs, HEF enables equitable access to education and pathways to employment. HEF’s mission is to cultivate a generation of competent, proactive graduates who contribute positively to their communities and the national workforce. Its programs span university scholarships, vocational education, capacity-building workshops, entrepreneurship incubation, and community service.

Program Description

As part of the Learning to Earning program, Phoenix Space and Hayat Education Fund will deliver a fully online, remote-first digital upskilling and career-readiness program for displaced, refugee, and marginalized youth in Jordan. Delivered through BSD Online’s “Digital Technologies in the Workplace” curriculum, the program will build future-focused skills in artificial intelligence, data analytics, UX/UI design, cybersecurity, coding, project management, communication, and digital strategy, complemented by structured employability support and freelance onboarding to help participants access digital employment and gig-economy opportunities.
