About Jusoor
Jusoor, which means “bridges” in Arabic, is an international NGO with the mission of “Maximizing the Potential of Syrian Youth through Education.” Founded in 2011 by the Syrian diaspora in the private sector, Jusoor is a unique model of humanitarian intervention known for its innovative approach, dynamic and continuously improving programs, high-velocity execution, and the strength of its global partnerships. We believe in lean impact and hold ourselves accountable for being nimble and responsive to the realities of Syrian children and youth on the ground. We are also non-political, non-religious, and globally registered in the US, Canada, UK, Jordan, Lebanon, and most recently, Syria.

Program Description
As part of the Learning to Earning program, Jusoor will deliver integrated vocational, green, digital, and career-readiness pathways designed to strengthen young people’s access to employment. The program will include vocational training in areas such as electrical systems, HVAC and maintenance, automotive services, logistics, hospitality, and healthcare support, alongside green skills in renewable energy and solar PV maintenance, sustainable agriculture, water management and conservation, and eco-friendly construction. It will also provide digital and IT training in digital literacy and productivity tools, business English, e-commerce and digital marketing, basic AI and data skills, introductory software development, and cybersecurity fundamentals, complemented by career-readiness support to help participants transition into work.
