Rama has always dreamed of becoming a doctor, driven by a deep desire to serve her community.

“There were times I feared I wouldn’t be able to continue my education,” she recalls.

Fathi Joudeh

Fathi Joudeh, a medical student from Gaza, has faced a journey marked by immense challenges—from adapting to remote learning during the pandemic to being displaced by war and losing his home and loved ones.

Despite being scattered across different countries and struggling to continue his education, he never lost hope.

The support of the Al Ghurair Education Relief Fund played a critical role in giving him the strength to persevere through these difficult circumstances.

Today, Fathi continues to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor, believing that despite the hardships, this path will ultimately lead him to success.

Abdul Majeed’s Story

Abdul Majeed, a young Palestinian from Gaza, pursued his studies in anesthesia in Turkey, facing significant challenges from the very beginning—learning a new language, adapting to a new environment, and later coping with the psychological and financial pressures brought on by war.

The support of the Al Ghurair Education Relief Fund was instrumental in helping him continue his education, enabling him to overcome these obstacles and reach his final semester.
