Through supporting 15 Makani Centres, these after school centres are located in both refugee camps and host communities. Students who come to the Makani Centres are either at risk of dropping out-of-school or currently out-of-school. The project provides them with academic learning support, life skills, social innovation and other activities such as arts and music. With an overall goal of increasing students transition and retention in formal education.
