ULYP were successful in activating virtual lessons in the CHANGE secondary education program. The rapid assessment identified what they can use in terms of technology, skills needed, challenges faced and time commitment. As a result, ULYP created self-paced lessons “Skills and Drills” that are sent virtually through low bandwidth apps. The lessons include pre and post-tests and focus on prepping students for the official exams. Through repurposing of funds, ULYP provided all CHANGE students with internet cards. The idea is when the lockdown eases, they can build on and broaden the skills gained and students are caught up with schools and ready for exams.
